Agreement

By using the Naam Jap website or the Naam Jap Android app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. The Terms apply to all visitors and users.

What Naam Jap is

Naam Jap is a free digital tool for counting mantra repetitions during personal spiritual practice (japa or naam smaran). It includes a 108-bead online counter, a library of common mantras, an option to add your own mantra, a sankalp calculator, and basic statistics. The Android app offers the same features for offline use.

Use of the service

• You may use Naam Jap for personal, non-commercial spiritual practice.
• You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute the website, app, or its content for commercial purposes without written permission.
• You may not attempt to disrupt the service, scrape the site at scale, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

Spiritual practice disclaimer

Naam Jap is a counting tool. It does not constitute religious, medical, mental health, or therapeutic advice. The use of any mantra is a personal spiritual choice. If you are dealing with mental health challenges, please also consult a qualified professional. Spiritual practice is a complement to, not a replacement for, professional care.

Intellectual property

The Naam Jap brand, design, code, and content are the property of the Naam Jap project, except for:

• Sacred mantras, which are the cultural and spiritual inheritance of all sadhaks and belong to no one.
• Open-source fonts used under their respective licenses (see the Google Fonts site).

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranty that the website or app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly accurate. Use of the service is at your own discretion.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Naam Jap project shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website or app.

Changes to the service

We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time without notice. We will try to communicate significant changes through the website or app where possible.

Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent change. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
